I had a mostly pleasant stay at The Hotel @ New York City. The location was fantastic, allowing easy access to major attractions and local eateries, though there were some minor inconveniences with the room. The staff offered great help when we faced issues, making the experience overall satisfying.

My room was cozy and clean, although it was a bit smaller than I expected. It had no carpeting, which I appreciated due to my allergies, but water from the shower spilled onto the floor since it lacked a door.
Service

The front desk staff, particularly Julie and Edward, were friendly and responsive. They helped with our luggage before check-in and provided shuttle service information, which made the stay more comfortable.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring NYC. I could easily walk to landmarks like the Empire State Building and had convenient access to subway stations just blocks away.
Dining

Breakfast met our needs with a variety of simple options like waffles, bagels, and fruits. While it was basic, it was a good start to our busy days in the city.

The hotel has been recently renovated, giving it a modern, clean feel, although the ongoing renovations did partially block my window. I'm glad to see improvements in progress.

I had a good stay at The Hotel At New York City, though there were some downsides. The newly renovated family room was comfortable and clean, although I did notice a few dust bunnies under the bed. The hotel is currently under renovation, which didn’t disrupt our stay at all, but it was hard to miss the scaffolding outside. I appreciated the location, close to a subway station, and some great local diners nearby.

The family room was comfortable and clean, with a sofa bed for extra space. However, it could use a vacuum under the beds.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally friendly and accommodating, although I had a minor hiccup with a broken room safe that never got fixed during my stay.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station, making it easy to get around. However, the area felt a bit sketchy at night.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was basic, with some frozen options and the occasional stale donut, but it was sufficient to start the day.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were generally well-maintained, but the hot drinks machine was broken when I arrived. The hotel allows luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, which is quite helpful.

My stay at The Hotel At New York City was solid overall. The location was perfect, just minutes away from the Empire State Building and lots of great food spots. The staff was friendly, although some seemed a bit rushed. The room was clean and modern, but I was surprised by how small it felt and that there wasn’t even a chair. The breakfast was decent but could definitely use more options, especially for vegans.

I had a good experience at The Hotel At New York City. The location was convenient for exploring the city, and I appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of my newly renovated room. Though the breakfast selection was basic, it did the job for quick morning meals. One downside was the broken safe in my room that wasn't addressed during my stay. Overall, I'd recommend it for those looking for a decent hotel without the hustle of Times Square.

I enjoyed my stay overall, as the hotel is in a fantastic location with easy access to public transit and nearby restaurants. The cleanliness and modern vibe of the rooms were definitely a highlight for me. However, the breakfast left much to be desired, with limited options and an uninviting setup. 🏙️🍽️

I loved the location on Lexington Avenue, just minutes from the subway and close to the Empire State Building. It made getting around the city incredibly easy.
Dining

Breakfast was quite basic and could use improvement. While it was convenient, the limited selection and use of paper plates and plastic cutlery made it feel more like a hostel than a hotel. I was hoping for more variety and healthier options.
